President Bola Tinubu has expressed strong condemnation of the tragic events that led to the death of His Royal Highness, Alhaji Isa Bawa, the District Head of Gatawa in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
In a statement issued by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu described the brutal attack on the traditional ruler as a deeply unsettling and heinous act that will not go unanswered.
The President extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Gobir Emirate, and the government of Sokoto State, offering prayers for the peaceful repose of Alhaji Bawa’s soul and comfort for his family during this trying time.
Assuring the nation of his administration’s commitment to security, President Tinubu emphasized that efforts are underway to eradicate threats, and acts of terror will be met with effective countermeasures.
