President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep condolences to the government and people of Jigawa State following recent floods that have claimed lives and displaced numerous residents.
In a statement released on Wednesday by Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media & Publicity, Tinubu extended his sympathy to the families of the deceased and all those affected by the floods, which have devastated around 14 local government areas and countless households.
Acknowledging the severity of the situation, President Tinubu emphasized the importance of maintaining ongoing efforts to combat climate change and address its dangers, including eliminating human-induced factors that contribute to such disasters.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of the departed souls and assured the people of Jigawa of his administration’s unwavering support during this challenging time.
