President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Wednesday, August 14, for a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, at the invitation of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
In a statement released on Tuesday by the presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, it was revealed that President Tinubu will meet with President Nguema at the Presidential Villa upon his arrival.
The two leaders are expected to hold discussions and sign agreements, with a focus on oil and gas as well as security cooperation.
Accompanying President Tinubu on the trip will be the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, along with other key cabinet members.
They will participate in the signing of agreements and explore opportunities to enhance bilateral relations between the two nations.
