Prof. Kailani Muhammad, Director General of the Confederation of All Progressives Congress Support Groups (CASG), has cautioned President Bola Tinubu to remain alert, suggesting a conspiracy against him in anticipation of the 2027 presidential election.
Muhammad made this statement during his acceptance of an Award of Excellence in National Service presented by the Supreme Head of the Nzuko Nd’ Imo Organisation (NNIO) in Abuja. He indicated that there is a plot against Tinubu within the Northern Elders Forum and various other groups in the North.

He advised the President to consider appointing CASG members to his administration, emphasizing that such appointments would reinforce their loyalty and dedication to supporting the APC government.
“If he does that, we will definitely back him. We want him to do the right thing. He should come and uplift the support groups. Up till now, we have not seen any appointments,” Muhammad stated.
Muhammad believes that appointing CASG members would contribute to the country’s economic prosperity and overall upliftment.
CASG President, Prof. Chris Ogbonna, highlighted that the group played a pivotal role in turning Tinubu’s aspirations into reality, helping him become the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. According to Ogbonna, their efforts have significantly deepened democracy in the country.
