Tonto Dikeh recently opened up about her spiritual journey, revealing that her current greatest prayer is to develop a deeper understanding of the Muslim faith.
In a heartfelt social media post, the popular actress and mother of one shared her experience of living in close proximity to a Muslim community over the past four years. She explained that she wakes up every day to the melodious sound of the Muslim call to prayer, a routine that has profoundly impacted her.
She wrote, “For the past four years, I have woken up each day to the sound of Muslims praying. It’s a sound that resonates with love, dedication, God’s beauty, and divine love. The rhythm of their prayers has become a comforting part of my morning, reminding me of the presence of something greater than ourselves.”
Tonto went on to express her admiration for the discipline and devotion she has observed within the Muslim community. “The dedication and intentionality with which Muslims practice their faith is truly inspiring. It’s a level of commitment that I believe is worthy of emulation,” she stated.
