Ahead of another testimony in a hush money trial in New York, former US President Donald Trump met with union workers on a construction site on Thursday morning and was greeted with the chants of “USA, USA”.

Trump signed MAGA hats as his attorneys are making their way to the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C., hoping to convince the nine justices that their client is not subject to prosecution.

Trump’s meeting with union workers came after his rival US President Joe Biden received the endorsement of the Building Trades Union of North America. The POTIS made fun of Trump’s “bleached” hair and implied that he should be punched in 2024
Trump hits back at ‘worst president’ Biden
Addressing the construction workers, Trump said: “This whole thing it’s election interference”, Daily Mail reported.

“We’re leading by a lot. He is the worst president in the history of our country. He makes Jimmy Carter look great,” he asserted while blasting Biden.

Accusing Biden of “destroying” the United States, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee went on to say, “Our country is going to hell.”

After his meeting with the construction workers in Manhattan, Trump is scheduled to head to court, where he witness to the third day of testimony of former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker.
The arguments that the Supreme Court will hear on Thursday could have a significant impact on Trump’s federal criminal trials.

Reacting to it, Trump said: “Well, we have a big case today, the judge isn’t allowing me to go,” adding that a president must have immunity. “If you don’t have immunity, you just have a ceremonial president.”

Trump’s hush money trial continues
Trump claims that should not be prosecuted for election fraud or crimes linked to January 6 because he was president at the time.

The ex-US President contends that he shouldn’t be charged with election fraud or crimes related to January 6 since he was the serving president of the US that time.

During Wednesday hearing, Pecker described how he worked with Michael Cohen after Playboy model Karen McDougal came forward with accusations of an affair with Trump.

He also revealed his strategy of “catch and kill” stories that could have damaged Trump and inflated headlines about the Republican opponent in the 2016 presidential contest.

Pecker will continue testifying over McDougal on Thursday, and he may also be questioned regarding former adult film star Stormy Daniels.
