In a momentous event that showcased the shifting political landscape of Edo State, Hon Francis Okoye, former Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon Felix Akhabue, a former governorship aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Hon Kingsley Ehigiamusoe, former Deputy Chief of Staff, Office of the Deputy Governor, along with their numerous supporters, made a triumphant return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) at a vibrant rally held in Uromi, the headquarters of Esan North East local government area.

These three influential figures had recently resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), citing feelings of exclusion by Governor Godwin Obaseki’s administration.
