The University of Uyo has produced four students who bagged first class honours in the department of Mathematics.
In an emergency meeting, the school Senate sat and approved results for the mobilization into the 2024 Nigeria Youth Service Corp (NYSC) badge.
In the result posted, four students including two male and two females graduated with first class honours, the highest ranked level in a Bachelor degree program.
The Mathematics Department in the former Faculty of Sciences, University of Uyo, achieved the remarkable feat in the recently released 2021/2022 NYSC Mobilization Report for the Award of B.Sc.
In the list is Igbinosa Promise Nosakhare, who achieved an impressive CGPA of 4.57. It’s worth noting that Nosa Igbinosa hails from Orhionmwon Local Government Area in Edo State, Nigeria.
Also on the list is Victoria Valentine Idobo, who achieved a remarkable CGPA of 4.77. Victoria Idobo is a proud daughter of Akwa Ibom State, specifically from Ikot Ambang in Ibiono Ibom.
The other two students who made the list are Solomon Aniekan Charlie with a CGPA of 4.75 and Victory Stephen Udoise with a CGPA of 4.61.
