Big Brother Naija star, Victoria Iye, popularly known as Vee, has sparked controversy with her remarks about supporters of President Bola Tinubu’s administration and self-proclaimed activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM).
In a video shared on her TikTok page, Vee stated that anyone supporting the current government or VDM “needs a mental evaluation.”
She expressed strong opinions about holding individuals accountable for their actions and beliefs. “I’m judging anybody that supports that current Nigerian government. I’m also judging supporters of VDM,” Vee said. She added that she cuts off anyone who defends “the wrong thing.”
Vee was also critical of activists, dismissing the idea of individuals acting as sole “freedom fighters” and emphasizing that the fight for Nigerians’ rights should be a collective effort. “I don’t believe in freedom fighters… I think everybody should be involved. And I definitely don’t think it should be VDM doing it,” she said.

On the ongoing legal dispute between rapper Falz and VDM, Vee commented briefly: “I don’t have much to say about the Falz versus VDM issue… lovely.”
Vee’s statements come after the public fallout between VDM and human rights lawyer Femi Falana. VDM had been given a 24-hour ultimatum by Falana and his son, Falz, to retract accusations he made against them regarding crossdresser Bobrisky’s prison sentence. However, VDM denied defaming them and refused to retract his comments, leading Falana’s daughter, Folakemi, to threaten legal action.
