Veteran Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle has recently showered praises on his ex-wife, Ireti, commending her exceptional qualities as a mother. In a heartfelt interview, Doyle spoke candidly about his continued admiration and respect for Ireti, despite their separation.

The 63-year-old actor, known for his iconic roles in Nollywood, took the opportunity to set the record straight regarding a Facebook post from 2018 that appeared to be an apology to Ireti. Clarifying the context and his feelings, Doyle stated, “Ireti is a first class mother and provider for her children. She is taking good care of my daughter. How can I wish her ill? As far as mothers go, they don’t come any better. She provides 360-degree mothering care.”

Doyle went on to highlight the significant role Ireti plays in their children’s lives, emphasizing her unwavering dedication and nurturing spirit. “She is an exceptional mother who goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of our children. Her love and care are truly unparalleled,” he added.

Reflecting on the responsibilities of maintaining a stable home, Doyle admitted that as a man, he felt it was his duty to address any unhappiness within their marriage. “As a man, it is my duty to say you don’t look happy. Responsibility for the stability of the home is that of the head of the home. So that was a bid to ease whatever the tensions were at the time,” he explained. This statement underscores his acknowledgment of the challenges they faced and his attempt to mitigate them.
