A Nigerian man, Anjola Femi, who received $14,000 (approximately N21 million) mistakenly sent to him by a foreign cryptocurrency trader, has shared his reasons for returning the money. The incident gained widespread attention on social media when trader @raffayalvi publicly praised Femi for his honesty.

Femi had participated in a cryptocurrency giveaway organized by Rafael Alvi, a foreign trader, and was initially awarded $100 worth of Solana. However, Alvi mistakenly transferred $14,000 instead of $100.Femi’s integrity sparked massive reactions online, with many social media users praising him for refunding the Solana.

Femi explained, “My name is Anjola Femi, also known as Lucky, with the Twitter handle @muchino67. I won $100 worth of Solana from Rafael Alvi this morning. After sending it to me, he messaged to inform me that he had mistakenly sent 100 Solana, worth $14,000, instead of $100. He requested me to keep 10 and return 90 to him, which I did.”

Femi further revealed that he returned the $14,000 worth of Solana because he is a child of God and wanted the foreign crypto trader to be happy.”I cannot keep the money because it is not mine. I am a child of God, and we all know that righteousness exalts a nation. I thank Apostle Chris Onofua, the general overseer of Kingdom Spread World Ministry, for teaching us the way of righteousness. I

am very happy about what I did. He is happy, I am happy. I am just trying to show the world that we Nigerians are still great and have a lot of people with integrity.I am also a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Minna, 2017 set, in chemical engineering. Thank you, and God bless you all.”
