The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has launched a resit examination program, allowing candidates to retake their West African Senior Secondary Examinations (WASSCE) papers as early as January and February 2025.

This was confirmed by WAEC’s Head of Public Affairs, John Kapi, during an interview on a Show in Ghana on Sunday.

Kapi revealed that candidates who discover they need to resit one or more papers after reviewing their results can register online through WAEC’s website or at accredited internet cafés by January 8, 2025.

The resit exams are scheduled to run from January 24 to February 15, 2025.

Additionally, students whose results have been cancelled are also eligible to sit for the WASSCE PC1 exams, as long as they have not been banned due to examination malpractice.
