A prominent businesswoman has been arrested by Lagos State Police after allegedly orchestrating the kidnapping of her son’s lover, a young woman working as a laundry attendant.
The incident, which shocked the highbrow community, took an unexpected and tragic turn, leading to the woman’s detention.
The wealthy woman, who resides in an upscale neighbourhood, reportedly disapproved of her son’s relationship with the laundry girl, believing she was beneath their social class.
According to police sources, the woman sought to end the relationship by secretly arranging for the girl’s abduction.
