Nigerian music sensation, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has addressed rumors circulating that she was pregnant with American rapper Future’s child.
The rumors started after her appearance at Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2024 London Fashion Week show in December, where she wore a form-fitting black dress paired with a purple fluffy coat, leading many to speculate that she was expecting.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Breakfast Club, Tems expressed her confusion over why Future was at the center of the rumors, questioning why other artists like Wizkid or Drake weren’t mentioned instead.
“People just take the most controversial things,” she said. “Because I was thinking like, why am I pregnant for Future? Why Future? Because that’s the craziest. Why not Wizkid? Why not Drake? Why not somebody else? If it was Drake, it would be the same thing, but the reason why it is Future is because of his reputation.”
She added, “He has about five kids and has a reputation of being a ladies’ man.”

Tems previously collaborated with Drake on his 2021 Certified Lover Boy album, and J.Cole was one of only two artists featured on her debut album, Born In The Wild, released this year.
