The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has expressed his satisfaction in serving under President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) government.

Wike, a key figure in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the sole opposition member in Tinubu’s cabinet, made this statement on Saturday during the PDP Congress in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Despite facing criticism for his appointment, the former Rivers State Governor remained unapologetic about his role in the Tinubu administration. He emphasized that he has no regrets about his decision and is content with his position in the current government.

“We are fully in government. We are fully in Tinubu’s government. I have no regrets about it, and I will continue to be there. Anybody who is angry should go and hug a transformer,” Wike stated.

His appointment as FCT Minister has fueled speculation that it was a reward for his contribution to Tinubu’s success in Rivers State during the 2023 presidential election.
