A swift response from vigilant residents and local security personnel led to John’s capture just a few meters away from the scene. The motorcycle’s owner, Aliyu, expressed relief and gratitude for the prompt intervention that prevented the theft.

Local authorities arrived shortly after the apprehension and took John into custody. He is currently being held at the Beere Police Station.

Preliminary reports suggest that John may have been involved in similar incidents in the past, although these allegations are yet to be confirmed.

John is expected to be charged with theft and brought before a magistrate court in the coming days.
