Dele Momodu, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has urged President Bola Tinubu to prioritize bringing competent individuals into his cabinet to tackle the challenges facing the country.
Mr. Momodu emphasized that the past year has been challenging for many Nigerians and called on the President to invite individuals with fresh ideas to help address the issues at hand.
He stressed that President Tinubu needs to do more to meet the expectations of the citizens.
Highlighting Nigeria’s abundance of talented individuals spread across the globe, Mr. Momodu urged the President to identify and engage them in government.
He believed that the inclusion of such individuals would bring valuable expertise and perspectives to the table.
Furthermore, Mr. Momodu emphasized the importance of surrounding oneself with people who provide honest feedback, as he deemed the culture of sycophancy detrimental to good governance.
He encouraged President Tinubu to address the energy crisis in the country, which he identified as a crucial factor for national development.
