A prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sunny Onuesoke, has confidently predicted that the PDP will make a strong comeback in the 2027 elections. After closely analyzing the recent electoral performances of both the PDP and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Onues


Onuesoke believes that the public has come to recognize the stark differences between the two parties.

Speaking at an event celebrating the one-year achievements of Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Onuesoke remarked, “Just as Nigeria is reverting to the old national anthem, so too will they revert to the PDP. The people are beginning to see the truth—that our party is on a path to progress for the country.”

Onuesoke criticized the APC-led Federal Government for its slow-moving performance and indecisive policies, which he claims have led the nation astray. He emphasized that Nigerians are increasingly yearning for the PDP to return to power, highlighting the party’s superior performance in states where it governs.

“Public opinion organizations and the general public have rated PDP states as performing significantly better than those governed by the APC. This is based on research into the one-year performance of both parties,” he noted.

Onuesoke pointed out the dire situation under the APC, citing widespread poverty, insecurity, and hunger. “The current hardships faced by Nigerians cannot continue indefinitely. When people recall the benefits they received from the PDP in the past, they are eager for the party’s return to create prosperity for the country,” he asserted.

He assured that the PDP would leave no stone unturned in its efforts to reclaim its former supporters and secure victory in future elections.
